About CREDMADE
CREDMADE represents a unique intersection of snack food packaging and social rehabilitation. Through the Credzels Mini Pretzels project, CREDMADE aims to address gun violence by creating employment and rehabilitation opportunities. The project serves a dual purpose: offering a tangible product in the form of mini pretzels and delivering a powerful message of change and hope. By focusing on creating Real Economic Destiny (CRED), CREDMADE uses its platform not only to produce quality snack foods but also to make a significant impact in the community, particularly in Chicago.
Challenges Faced by CREDMADE
CREDMADE's primary challenge in the Credzels Mini Pretzels project was to design a packaging solution for mini pretzels that resonated with its core mission. The packaging needed to be functional, align with the branding, and, most importantly, convey the educational message about CREDMADE. Balancing these elements while standing out in the competitive snack food market required a thoughtful and innovative approach.

In response to this challenge, Rigali Packaging Products Inc (RPPI) undertook a detailed market analysis to understand the competitive landscape of pretzel packaging. The collaborative process involved working closely with the CREDMADE team to align the design with their vision and mission. The design options presented by RPPI varied in color schemes, fonts, and layouts, each reflecting the essence of CRED's branding and educational message. This approach ensured that the final design would not only meet functional requirements but also effectively communicate the heart of CRED's mission.
Outcome for CREDMADE
The outcome of this collaboration was a success. The selected packaging design perfectly encapsulated CREDMADE's message and branding. This design will now be used as a standard for future Chicago CREDMADE branded items, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand presence across various products.
